Depart Boston’s Logan International Airport on your overnight flight to Shannon, Ireland. Dinner followed by in-flight entertainment shortly after take-off.
Day 02, Wednesday, November 7th: Shannon-Ardrahan-Ballyfarnon.
Upon arrival at Shannon airport we are met by our friendly Celtic Tours driver/guide and board our awaiting motor coach. Leaving Shannon we will travel north via County
Clare to Ardrahan in County Galway. Here we’ll stop for tea/coffee and the best Irish farmhouse scones in all of Ireland with our hostess, Frances. Continue on now northerly
via the country towns of County Galway to County Roscommon. Here we check into the Kilronan Castle. Time to rest, relax and enjoy our castle surroundings. Dinner and
overnight at your castle.
Day 03, Thursday, November 8th: Ballyfarnon-Westport-Ballyfarnon.
This morning after breakfast we’ll explore the counties of Sligo and Mayo. Travel via Sligo town, around Sligo Bay to Ballina, along Lough Conn to Castlebar and on into the
mall town of Westport. Here you have independent time to explore and shop, perhaps enjoy a pint or two and a music session at Matt Malloy’s Pub. Return to your Ballyfarnon
castle for dinner and overnight.
Day 04, Friday, November 9th: Ballyfarnon-Galway.
After a full breakfast you’ll travel southward through Boyle and Roscommon, through the small country towns of Galway to your city hotel. Before checking in enjoy a panoramic
tour of Galway, known as the “City of the Tribes” after fourteen most prominent families which settled this area. Dinner and overnight at the Imperial Hotel.
Day 05, Saturday, November 10th: Galway.
This morning after breakfast we’ll tour the Connemara region. This rocky land of broad-back mountains and pearl-like lakes is the largest Irish speaking section of the country
and the old traditions and way of life are as much a part of Connemara’s attractions as is the scenery. We shall drive along the shores of Lough Corrib and then westward
through Maam Cross to Leenane and Kylemore, returning to Galway via the coastal route, stopping in Spiddal to shop for some Irish hand-knits. Dinner and overnight at your
Galway hotel.
Day 06, Sunday, November 11th: Galway - Dublin.
After breakfast at the hotel we’ll depart Galway and head East across the midland of the country to the fair city of Dublin. Our drive is across the central plains of Ireland,
through the busy towns of Ballinasloe and Athlone, which is situated on the River Shannon and is popular base for inland boating enthusiasts. On then, through County Westmeath
and Kildare, arriving in Dublin in the late afternoon. After checking into your hotel you are free to rest and relax. Dinner on your own and overnight at the Academy
Plaza Hotel.
Day 07, Monday, November 12th: Dublin.
This morning we’ll enjoy breakfast before heading out for a panoramic tour of the city; just an introduction to the home of Trinity College and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, city of
Wilde, O’Casey and Behan. You’ll enjoy a visit to the Guinness Storehouse for a tour and a pint of Guinness. There will be some free time in Dublin to browse or relax. Tonight
enjoy dinner and entertainment at the Irish House Party. Overnight at your Dublin hotel.
Day 08, Tuesday, November 13th: Dublin Airport - U.S.

NEWSFLASH! - March 13, 2009

As many of you know, Chris Leske and I have been performing together pretty constantly for nearly thirty years. Yes...I know...doesn't seem possible.

From the beginning days with Summit, later touring with mandolinist Frank Wakefield, and later with banjo master Bill Keith. Then into the 90's with a CD from The Noble Jones Project, to The McKrells, and lastly Adrenaline Hayride. I recently had to make a career decision which will change that continuity. Surprised

I have joined an established band called The Hickory Project. Too much to say about all of that here, but for an in depth view into the band's members and more, visit:

www.hickoryproject.com ;

I wish the best for my old friends Chris, Arlin and Dave. We will certainly pick again in the future when our paths will undoubtedly cross.

They now have a website www.adrenalinehayride.com, and have gigs on the horizon with our old friend Ralph Lane filling my spot. Go check them out when you can.

Best to you boys!

See you down the road....

(more gigs coming soon) Sealed
